My Ministry Experience with "Grace to You"

Realizing the urgent need of Biblical Preaching in Kachin Churches, Kachin Baptist Convention(KBC) has engaged with Grace to You ministry in 2006. After a long and detailed discussion among KBC Executive Committee, Kachin Church leaders agreed to partner with Grace to You. They have set three specific goals for this ministry:

1) to train Pastors with Expository Preaching

2) to translate Bible Study Material into Kachins

3) to train new generation leaders for future KBC.

In 2007 and  2008, a week long Expository Preaching Seminar was held, in Pyin Oo Lwin. Many Church leaders and Prominent leaders of KBC attended the Seminars. By Grace, I was invited to be a translator in the two seminars.

In 2009, the third Seminar was held in Myitkyina, Kachin State. Having experienced the positive result of those seminars, KBC has started a longer training, Intensive Pastoral Training(IPT) since 2009.
